I discovered God had another thing in mind while writing my first book, Getting to Joy: A Mother's Journey with Infertility, Miscarriage, and Stillbirth. I thought it was all about becoming a mother biologically. I thought it was all about fulfillment of a promise of Deja Joy. I found out it was bigger than me. It was bigger than my husband and I. It was bigger than us.
